What's all the uproar about?

If you ask me, the Mets on-field performance is more offensive than the fact that they got rick rolled.

Apparently the Mets are the one team Gagne can pitch against successfully.

This team is an absolute disgrace top to bottom. They can't pitch, hit, or field. They have the absolute WORST clutch hitting I've ever seen in a team. They strand a hideous number of runners.

And the worst thing is that this team somehow always makes poor to mediocre opposing players look great. Whether its Jamie Moyer or Mota or Gagne or Kapler, it just grates to watch them allow such dominating performances.

Not to mention, is there any lead this team can hold? You could spot them 10 runs and I'm sure they'd find a way to blow it.

We may have gotten Rick Rolled but at least our new stadium isn't going to be cursed...

Hey SHK, considering the team is an absolute disgrace and the worst bunch of losers to ever step on a field, I guess we're in good shape since they're 1 game under .5oo...

Pretty much everyone is hovering around .500 so I don't take too much from that. I'm more interested in whether this team has improved from last year, and I don't see it yet. I see a lot of the same mistakes and weaknesses that plagued them last year, along with the usual slew of crippling injuries. Luckily ATL and philly also are suffering through some key injuries right now as well, otherwise we'd be falling even further behind.

I'm hopeful that Sanchez, Pedro, Alou, Wise and Reyes will come back from injuries and turn it around. I also figure Heilman will settle in soon. Obviously if they do we are the team to beat in NL. But that's a lot of ifs..

Very clever, SHK. You rick rolled me, after already mentioning that someone else had been rick rolled.

Down the rabbit hole we go...
