The Ted
Well, we'll have a chance with this 4-game series against the braves to see if the yankees series really was the start of the Mets turning things around, or just the result of playing a last-place team. You'd like to see Maine and Johan get wins, and then either pelf or vargas also pick one up. With 3 of 4 we can start to put some distance between us and the braves.

Well, their first test is already looking shaky. Bases loaded, bottom of the 1st with only one out, and they don't get any of those runs in. I'm shocked Alou didn't get a hit, he usually comes through in those situations. Not shocked about del-suck-o.
If you can knock glavine out early that would be a huge bonus since draining their pen early in a 4-game series will pay dividends when we have to face jurjens and hudson.
