Just to catch up on last winter's hot stove,

Ed Haren, the guy the Mets were trying to acquire, is now leading the AL in ERA at 1.74. The #2 guy in the AL is John Lackey at 2.34. Gil Mesche is #3--that big contract doesn't seem so silly now, does it?
