NLCS predictions

Time to go on the record again.

In round 1, SHK and Fredo both thought Mets in 4, and it went Mets in 3.

In the LCS, I'm going with Mets in 7. The upside of that will be Glavine on normal rest for Game 1 of the WS against the Bengals. But remember, we don't look ahead, we just take it one game at a time.

Potential good news for us if we make it to WS: Zumaya might be out (http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/playoffs2006/news/story?id=2622785)

I pick Mets in 5, possibly 6 but I'll go 5 on record. I think our offense is rolling, except for Carpenter we'll be tough to shut down. Also, ESPN made a good point that playing 5 games in 5 days favors our bullpen, which is a real strength. If we can just knock Weaver out early tonight that's huge. I look for Reyes in particular to have an even better series.

It's weird to say it, but with Carpenter going in game 2, and Trax, O. Perez, and short-rested Glavine going in St. Louis, tonight's almost a must win.
