Jose Jose Jose
Nice to see the Mets decided giving it up like candy last night wasn't enough, needed a repeat performance tonight. At least jose remembered the mets are allowed to score runs too.
no doubt, the two-run blast in the 8th was totally unnecessary and just showing off!
So which of the three is it:
(a) Just bad luck / coincidence that starting pitching, relief pitching, hitting, and fielding all dried up the same two nights in a row,
(b) Mets are getting lazy / unfocused with 13+ game lead and don't care now, but will be able to refocus and turn it on once playoffs start,
(c) Wheels are falling off of pitching staff, and we need help ASAP.
I'm hoping (a), but unfortunately this is not guaranteed: Pedro's often 'injured' at the end of every season, and El Duque's been hit or miss all season. So really we don't know who's going to show up in playoffs.. As for the batting drying up, it's kind of strange. Then again, Reyes has really been the only consistent guy for 2 months now. Well that's not entirely true - delgado's been consistently absent.

Typical. Loading up stats in a game that's totally decided.
(just pulling your chain, man.
Maybe if we put him on the block we could get a whole team for him?
OK, I'm being an alarmist. Breathe. Count to 10. Think pleasant thoughts.

LoDuca and Beltran have been consistently good as well.
