"CITY SUPERIORITY ON LINE IN SUBWAY SERIES"

So says the Post today. Talk about false advertising. I think they mean city "inferiority" on line. After the series the Mets and Yankees just had I don't think anyone should be using their names and "superiority" in the same sentence.

What a rough series with the Phils. By all rights, we should have held on to win one of the final two games.

Now we get the Janks for three, and while they're hurting as well, the pitching matchups in games 1 and 2 strongly favor the Yanks. In game 3 we have Johan against Burnett. Burnett's going to pissed after his last performance and I expect a strong bounceback. And while I never would count us out of a game that Johan is starting, giving up fly balls in that windtunnel is a scary proposition. I don't like the look of this series. at. all.

Well, who knows--maybe our guys will actually hit a few out of Coors East...

I do think playing at Citi all the time ought to line us up nicely for tons of HRs at Yankee Stadium. Playing at Citi has got to be the equivalent of taking practice swings with like 10 donuts on your bat.
