This team's lack of discipline and focus is mind-numbing. We're #2 in errors and 2nd to last in field pct. If they had a stat to track baserunning stupidity I'm sure it would look even worse.
In almost every way the '09 season is shaping up to be the same as '06, '07 and '08. Other than K-rod I don't see any difference, and unfortunately K-rod can only help if we even make it to the 9th inning.

They said last night that we've already allowed more unearned runs this year than we did in the whole '99 season.
Glad to see the anti-Murphy jihad by Manuel continues. for the second time in four games, Manuel pinch hits for Murph late in a game when the tying runs are on base.
Meanwhile, other hitting studs like Ramon Martinez and Santos repeatedly get called on to pinch hit or stay in the game in the same circumstances.
Guess Church and Murph will continue to be the doghouse guys so that Angel Pagan, Jeremy Reed, and Ramon Martinez can get all the at bats they richly deserve.
