Are you kidding me?

I'm so disgusted right now.

1. The NL is a joke of a league. A complete farce. They are owned by AL in every way, whether interleague play, All-Star game (12 in a row now), or World Series.

2. Billy Wagner is a joke. I only watched the first few innings of this game but I KNEW he would blow it for NL, just like last year. Who voted him in anyway? You just knew, with 100% certainty, that he was going to come up in a big spot in the game where he could shut it down and he would choke. Total. Complete. Choke.

3. All-star game continues to prove what our recent winning streak also proves and we've known all along: good pitching trumps good hitting. You had the absolute best batters last night, for contact and power, yet the run production was non-existent. So to Omar I continue to say: pitching, pitching, pitching. Our ERA over recent win streak is 0.67, that's why we're winning. Any move he considers should look to bolster pitching.

Didn't see Wagner. Caught the game from the 9th inning on, and as bad as the blown save was, I'm sorry, there's only one reason the NL lost that game: Dan Uggla.

The dude managed to fail to plate the winning run in extra innings with a man on third base and less than two outs. TWICE.

Never mind becoming the first player in All Star game history to commit 3 errors in the game.

And, arguably, had he fielded the ground ball cleanly in the 15th, Morneau wouldn't have advanced to 3rd and been able to score on the sac fly.

Yup. Dan Uggla, this year's golden goat.

BTW, the grounder he botched in the 15th wasn't even one of his 3 errors, since he managed to recover to get the runner at 1st.

I hear what you're saying about pitching. But don't forget, Benigno says we need to trade Pelf for Matt Holiday. Right. Now.

And his name is still... Dan... Uggla. (in case you've ever caught games broadcasted by marlins TV, that's what you get to hear)

Pelf for Holliday you say. Sounds intriguing, let's do it!

BTW, i'm not blaming the loss on wags. clearly a lot of blame to go around. I'm more pointing out that i just knew he would choke, and sure enough he did. It's very frustrating. Who inherits a bases empty situation WITH TWO OUTS and still gives up a run?

I was happier not knowing that was the situation. Thanks.

So he's got that going for him, which is nice.
