As I commented last night, expect Gotay to be dangled as bait: his value's at a peak.
In other news, Pedro's backed off his earlier bluster and sounds unsure of how he'll be throwing when he returns:

Oh, and Tommy goes for 300 tonight. Anyone else feel like that will be a load off of the whole team?
The Braves are apparently also close to landing Octavio Dotel to be their new closer, according to the Newsday article linked above.

Hmmmm, who might Mets be hanging out there as trade bait.. Not Maine, Glavine, or Duque. So Perez or Sosa? I doubt Perez, so maybe we are about to trade Sosa? I could see that as part of Blanton trade. Are we still (making the mistake) of pursuing Contreras?
I could see a package of Sosa, Heilman, and Gotay for a legit starter. Since there are no legit starters available though, I'm not sure where metties are headed..
I can't imagine Sosa would havee much value.
Based on the above comment, Humber sounds like a possibility.
