Unfortunately neither does the bullpen!
With Wags out, looks like Los Mets finally figured out how to grab a W: keep tacking on runs, so that the 3-run 9th inning home run by the Pods is irrelevant (except to further bury Heilman in the muck).
Apparently Manuel agrees that his bullpen blows: Afterward, Jerry Manuel pointed to his bottled water when asked about his new closer by committee set-up."I feel like I need to be turning that water into wine," Manuel said. (From the Post)Only thing that could've been clearer is if he had said getting a good performance from his pen is like squeezing blood from a stone.
Typical retarded thing I'd expect to hear out of the Gangsta. Everyone knows your pen is shorthanded. You don't need to call out your own players.
