What are these #s?
7.2, N/A, 7.71, 11.57, 7.56
They are the ERAs of our 5 projected starters (assuming Pelf, not Duque) so far in spring training.
Granted, the number of IP is so low that the #s are somewhat meaningless (1 or 2 runs can be the difference between ERA of 2 or 8). However, the fact that all of our starters are sky high is troubling. Also troubling is the injury front, of course...

Looks like Maine got the memo.. 4 no-hit innings.. Well played Maine, well played.
I think a large factor is having reserves in at defnsive positions as well. I've already seen a bunch of times that thw opposition scored on plays that starters would have easily made.
Errors were not given, and as a result the pitchers' ERA's take the hit.
That is why I will never get concerned over spring training #'s--the whole exercise is meaningless as an indicator or regular season success.
The average number of meals eaten each day in the hunting cabin by Beets McDogg, DC, Fredo, Slidy McHump, and Fredo Sr.?
I think your #'s are too low there, Fredo.
And my N/A explains why I always seem to lose weight during the trip...
