Looks like the Castillo trade has been paying dividends.
Now, if you're Omar, do you lock him up for 2-3 years, or are his gimpy knees and hips too big a risk?

That DP he and Jose turned the other night was just flat-out filthy. I don't recall the last time I saw a 2B make a pivot throw that strong falling towards 3rd (and actually hold the bag, to boot).
Sick play. It's hard to think of a more difficult turn that was successfully completed.
I didn't think they actually had the runner at 1st in real time, but the replay showed the ump had it right.
Castillo has been solid, but mets roster this year has proven old players don't hold up, and you're just begging for injury. I can't see locking him up for 2-3 years.. On the other hand, the mets have bigger problems to fill than 2nd base..
