Looks like we dodged the Sheets bullet. Apparently he might undergo season-ending (or at least severely season-shortening) elbow surgery.
In some cases past performance IS a good indicator of future returns.
All advice and opinion offered in this blog should be followed to the letter by Alderman, Collins, and all uniformed members of the Mets.

I'd still rather have him than Ollie.
At least he should be back mid-season and then won't require surrendering a draft pick to sign...
