Fredo suggests the mets season isn't in the toilet yet.
Mike Francesca thinks otherwise. Epic rant.

You misunderstood. The Mets season is clearly in the toilet. My point is that I'd rather watch the flush than the steaming coil that is the Jets.
Such a great set of choices though, two equally steaming sets of dung. At least j-e-t-s D should be good. Although of course they'll be totally gassed by the start of the 4th quarter when they've already been on the field for 30 min.
Luckily ND just suspended their top RB for the first two games so I've also got that to look forward to.
When are we gonna get you down to NY, shk?
For the record I heard Francesa say the Jets are a 7-9 win team, that defense is too good to be worse than that.
I think he's underestimating what happens in a sport like football when a team stops playing hard.
To clarify Francesa's point, he felt the Jets would end up 7-9, 8-8, or 9-7
Clearly, Francesa is an idiot.
I agree, no way jets end up with fewer than 8 wins with that D. Bills and pats twice each is tough but jets pulled out 8 wins last year with no offense and completely fractured locker room. I expect better team unity this year - at least at the beginning. Of course, if they start losing a ton all bets are off and expect big time finger pointing. Biggest challenge will come first time Sanchez throws some real heaps, and the calls for tebow come in.
Gotta get down to NY soon, although nothing planned right now. Maybe a trip to a local casino is in order...
You expect better team unity this year? I expect this team to turn into a circular firing squad by mid-season.
Holmes, Cro, QB controversy, Ryan having lost all semblance of discipline, offense completely failing to score, and the D tiring of carrying the team, etc.
And btw I don't think the D is all that great to begin with. They're good, but not great. Cannot rely on them to stuff a good offense with game on the line. Still no pass rushing threat without 6-7 man blitz.
Big Mike is not so excited

Classic, Raekwon.
