Always a bit torn in these Duke-St. John's games. I'm always rooting for Duke, but I'm glad to see the Johnnies resurrection underway. Lavin has his team playing well and they're a great matchup for a team like Duke that likes to run an overplay man-to-man D.
If this can build some momentum for the Storm and they can string together a few wins, a return to the NCAAs may well be in the cards...

Johnnies have been up and down this year, but 3 wins against ranked teams is a HUGE step forward with today's blowout being an absolute exclamation point.
Lavin supposedly has a top 5 recruiting class coming here next year. This team could be top 10 in 2 years, certainly should be top 15. I for one would be incredibly excited to see the return of the this team to actually being a part of the national discussion, and a return of NYC hoops.
All 4 of my teams have put new coaches into place in the last two years, so far 3 of 4 are on the right track (Jets, ND football, and Johnnies). Whether the Mets step up to the plate remains to be seen, but given the monster teams that Phillies and Sox have in place I'd guess they are dominating WS for next few years.
Johnnies recruiting class for next year currently ranked #2.
Did u see the game, SHK? It was wire-to-wire domination. Very impressive, to say the least.
