W

Offense looked hideous again (Sanchez specifically) until the last 2 minutes, but they got the W and that's all that matters in this league.

That, and the Patsies getting rolled like a cheap cigar. Man-genius. And just like that, order is restored in the AFC East.

FWIW, I guess the "glass half full" look at this game says it will build confidence that down 10 at the end of a game with no TOs left, Sanchez can march the team down the field. Certainly helps develop confidence and it's something they can build on. I'd imagine they will be in some tough, tight games down the stretch against the Pats, Steelers and Fins, so this game should help.

Given the explosiveness of Holmes, Braylon, and LT you'd expect them to get more consistent at putting up 28+ ppg. Throw in the steadiness of Keller, Cotchery and upside of Greene, and it looks solid.

Actually, if the Jets improved their discipline and eliminated all the F'in dumb penalties they keep getting on offense, they'd put up a lot more points. Hard to keep driving when you put yourself in a 2nd and 15 or 2nd and 20 hole with constant false start and holding penalties.

Clean those up, stop killing your rhythm, and now you're in business.

To me, that's the #1 focus in practice this week.

The Glass Half Full look says the coach should have plenty of footage to embarrass his players with in the tape room. Sloppy, sloppy penalties all over the place.

Oh sorry, just read your second post.

I concur.

Obviously, not too much you can do to make the kid throw more accurate balls. Young QBs, fits and starts. Those nice drives at the end of the game will hopefully loosen him up a bit. Schottenheimer's got to give the kid a little more leash, me thinks.
