I'm presently out. Drained a botttle of Chivas 18, then my Sobieski vodka. Now I'm trying to scrounge some crappy vermouth or drambuie out of cardboard boxes in the basement.
Anything to avoid having to justify spending more cash at the liquor store.

Most likely it will play itself out as it always does:
A. Mets have very highly touted minor league prospects.
B. Mets have inadequate major leaguers on roster, due to: (a) injury, or (b) general ineptitude.
C. Mets call up said touted minor league prospect way too early, destroying his career.
D. SHK loses his s**t.
E. Fredo goes "Wha happened?" b/c he has watched a total of 3 innings of this shit show all season.
Luckily for me, that's 3 more innings than I've watched of the Mets all season. I've got a two-word review for you: shit sandwich.

I know even though it's only the 4th season in a row of this it must still come as a surprise to Wilpon / Minaya / Gangsta that this team sucks.

Bought my pops a fifth of JW Black since he was over.
And the owner of my local package store talked me into a fifth of Old Grandad 114.
Kept telling me it was smooth.
It is.

Bobby V would go a long way towards improving the morale of this Met fan.
