How many F'in Top 10 teams does St. John's have to beat before they are ranked? Ranked! I'm not even asking for a top 10 ranking, I'm just asking for any ranking!
They have the #3 strength of schedule, 5 super quality wins, and as of last week had BARELY cracked the "Others receiving votes" category. What a crock. All I know is this team better be top 20 when the new polls come out.

Don't worry. Top 25 is a beauty contest. I guarantee you the committee is going to give them respect.
They had two terrible losses early, but let's be honest, I don't think the committee is going to care what happened in November given what's gone on since.
In other news, the Lavin hire is continuing to look ridiculously good. I just hope the fan base shows a little patience next year when the team is VERY young.
I agree. Also shows that apparently Norm Roberts was more than half decent at recruiting. Just couldn't coach, which was apparent to anyone who watched them play the past few years.
Next year's team will definitely have some growing pains, I'd expect a monster team in two years...
Wow. A whopping 23rd and 25th in the polls.
St. John’s (17-9) now owns wins over current No. 1 Duke, No. 6 Pittsburgh, No. 9 Notre Dame, No. 11 Georgetown and No. 15 UConn.
I'm not sure any other team in the country can say that.
From the Post.
Pitt has wins over 22 Texas, 4 U Conn, 3 Cuse, 19 G Town, and @ 10 Nova without their best player. Losses were to SJU on road and two ranked teams (TN and ND at home.
SJU has 9 losses, including 3 to mid majors, one of which was at home.
No other team in top 25 has more than 7 losses. SJU has 9. Still, based on the quality of the wins, and the fact that the team is clearly improving, Id have them around 17 or 18 in this weeks top 25.
After whipping DePaul and 'Nova they should be top 15 this week.
Sounds about right to me. Frankly they're clearly one of the 10 best teams on America, but based on total body of work Is have them around 15.
Yay mobile phone spelling.
glad to see yous have them around 15.
Looks like you nailed it. 15 in both polls.
