Bay's knees shot?
According to Gammons, the Sox only wanted to offer Bay 2 years because of concerns about the health of both of his knees. Gammons suggested the Sox doctors are the best in any sport. One thing I don't need Gammons to tell me is where I'd rank the Mets doctors.
I guess we'll see soon enough. It's also been said that the Sox are notorious for claiming that every player that elects not to resign with them is damaged goods.
He's saying he'd even take the league minimum but that's with talks for Cards not sure for others but can't hurt. Also they're probably gonna go for sheets since everyone else is turning them down. When did the Mets turn into the Buffalo Bills? Totally depressing

And FWIW, Daisuke apparently hid a knee or leg injury from them last season. So they weren't able to catch onto that.
