Roster

Roster getting closer to completion. Joe Smith is in as a reliever, and it's been speculated that he's the person to whom Minaya is referring when he keeps saying he expects someone will step up big this year.

Also, rotation will be glavine - duque - maine - perez - glavine - duque.. Pelfrey to be brought in as #5 later. I like this idea, it gives us glavine and duque against los bravos. We need to F the braves early and often.

I like signing of Fernando Tatis. Although he might never be healthy or live up to his potential, he possibly gives us some slugging potential that we can bring up from minors during the season if necessary..

I'm very comfortable with the roster we have. I'm glad Perez and Pelfrey will get a shot. Having Park and Sele in reserve is not a bad place to be either. And we're still supposed to get SoulGlo back at some point.

As long as Alou, Green and Milledge don't completely crap out at the same time, we should be fine.

biggest challenge will be outfield defense. As some article i saw the other day pointed out, beltran will be the hardest working center fielder in baseball with green and alou at the corners..

Having milledge's youth and speed will help, and his bat seemed to be solid through spring training.
